Vineyard Ave. The brand is in the pre-development process, seeking bids for contractors until the middle of September. The project calls for new construction with associated site improvements near S. Vineyard Avenue and E. Walnut Street. New asphalt, curb ramps, landscaping, and a fire sprinkler system will be added as well. Documents show the property will have 18 regular parking spaces and two handicap-accessible spaces. Kimley-Horn is listed as the civil engineering firm for the project, with Giles Engineering Associates Inc. listed as the geotechnical engineer. Real estate data on LoopNet shows the store will be located within the Ontario Vineyard Pavilion complex, a grocery-anchored shopping destination with Cardenas and Planet Fitness among its major retailers. Apartment building planned for Leavenworth corridor. September 3, 2026 Another apartment building is planned for the Leavenworth Street commercial corridor southeast of the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus. The Omaha Planning Board this week approved rezoning of the property at 3715 Leavenworth Street. Formerly, an auto repair shop, the existing building will be razed and replaced with a 5-story, 48-unit building with studio and one-bedroom apartments.
