As a Senior Occupancy Planner, you will provide strategic occupancy planning expertise for our client's portfolio in a designated region. You'll leverage your deep understanding of space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans, fostering critical relationships with various stakeholders, and driving optimal occupancy planning solutions. Your role will involve managing occupancy plans, resolving planning issues, and ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines while maximizing space utilization.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Developing and managing occupancy plans for the client's portfolio
Fostering relationships with Corporate Real Estate, Business Unit leadership, and other key stakeholders
Collecting and reconciling headcount forecasts and growth projections
Reviewing and approving moves, developing migration plans, and conducting facility audits
Recommending and enforcing space policies, procedures, and protocols
Preparing and updating project status reports on seat demand and space utilization
Identifying space requirements and forecasting inventory changes
Developing and implementing site-specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership
Desired experience and technical skills:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, cell calculations)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with executive-level clients
Expert-level data analytical skills
Ability to lead through influence
High level of organization and performance in project budgeting and scheduling
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or related field
Experience with CAFM / IWMS software
Working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles, and workplace trends
Experience in consolidating data and floor plans into PowerPoint Presentations
Strategic thinking and ability to simplify complex ideas
Familiarity with mobile or collaborative workplace concepts
Estimated total compensation for this position:
96,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per year
The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
