  • Provincial Electricians Ticket (309A or 442-A)
  • Controls & Automation Technician diploma an asset
  • Grade 12 English and Math or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Industrial Electrician with Automation
  • Must have strong knowledge of PLCs, robot and HMI programming
  • Proven experience performing electrical/electronic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Must be capable of interpreting and designing electrical schematics
  • Must have proven ability and experience completing electrical installation work including: control wiring, conduit, power wiring and mcc work
  • Demonstrated skill in technical documentation
  • Proven mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with Fanuc, Sepro and ABB Robotics
  • Must be computer literate with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be results and team oriented
  • Must be safety conscious and reliable
  • Must have demonstrated good work habits for a period of not less than six months in present job
Responsibilities
  • PLC, Robot & HMI programming, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance of Injection/RIM assembly automation and paint systems
  • Repair of equipment, modify robot programs when required
  • Design, verification and maintenance of electrical schematics
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining programming, electrical component and schematics standards
  • Assist in proper maintenance of all programming software and application files and programming hardware
  • General Electrical duties
  • Completion of all required work orders and associated paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
