Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a specialty in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a similar field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in commercial banking.
  • At least 15 years of experience in pricing, profitability, commercial lending, finance, or strategic analytics.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products, relationship economics, and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and governance committees.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain pricing strategies across loans, deposits, Treasury Management, and fee-based products.
  • Establish relationship-based pricing frameworks that maximize client lifetime value, relationship profitability, and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Identify pricing opportunities through market intelligence, competitive analysis, portfolio reviews, and profitability studies.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking leadership to establish annual pricing objectives, performance targets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments based on market conditions, interest rate trends, client behavior, and competitive dynamics.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance pricing consistency, transparency, and effectiveness across the Commercial Bank.
  • Design, administer, and continuously enhance the Commercial Banking Pricing Governance Framework.
  • Chair Commercial Banking Pricing Committee meetings and facilitate pricing-related decision-making.
  • Establish and review pricing authority levels, approval thresholds, and escalation procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to pricing policies, risk-adjusted return requirements, regulatory expectations, and governance standards.
  • Monitor pricing exceptions and emerging trends, escalating issues and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain enterprise pricing policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Deliver pricing governance reporting and insights to executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain methodologies for measuring relationship profitability across commercial client segments.
  • Partner with Finance and Credit teams to evaluate relationship returns and risk-adjusted profitability.
  • Develop scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that provide insight into client, banker, portfolio, and segment profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve wallet share, product penetration, pricing discipline, and overall relationship returns.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance client profitability while supporting a positive client experience.
  • Serve as the primary pricing advisor for complex commercial relationships and strategic opportunities.
  • Provide pricing guidance and support to Relationship Managers, Treasury Sales Officers, and Credit teams, directly or through a team of pricing analysts.
  • Evaluate deal economics and recommend pricing structures that align with relationship strategy and return objectives.
  • Support negotiations by providing profitability analysis, scenario modeling, and pricing recommendations for large or highly competitive opportunities.
  • Promote consistent application of pricing methodologies across the Commercial Bank.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of commercial pricing and profitability dashboards and analytical tools.
  • Establish and monitor key pricing, profitability, and governance performance metrics.
  • Analyze portfolio pricing trends, margin performance, pricing exceptions, and relationship returns to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Leverage predictive analytics and data-driven modeling to support pricing decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of pricing and profitability technology platforms.
  • Drive automation, efficiency, and scalability within pricing and profitability workflows.
  • Establish best practices for pricing analytics, reporting, governance, and decision-support processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen decision-making, operational effectiveness, and user adoption.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing pricing and profitability team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
  • Establish team goals and performance expectations aligned with Commercial Bank growth, profitability, and client relationship objectives.
  • Develop talent and succession plans to support long-term organizational success.
  • Manage and lead the analyst team.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Support and Delivery.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Read, understand, and act on applicable compliance programs, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete assigned compliance training by established due dates.
  • Identify compliance risks affecting the department and escalate them to the appropriate level of management.

Burnham Holdings secures $130M revolving credit facility to boost liquidity and growth

Burnham Holdings has closed a new $130 million revolving credit facility, replacing its existing $92 million facility that was due to mature in 2028. The five-year syndicated facility, financed through Wells Fargo Bank and Fulton Bank, comprises an $80 million revolving credit facility and a $50 million accordion feature. The new facility provides enhanced liquidity and financial flexibility to support working capital, strategic investments, acquisitions, and general corporate purposes. It includes a more favourable covenant structure and matures on 4 August 2031, with repayment permitted at any time prior to maturity. Nick Ribich, vice president and chief financial officer of Burnham Holdings, said the facility positions the company to invest across its businesses and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

Fulton Financial reports Q2 2026 net income of $99.9M after completing $2.1B Blue Foundry acquisition

Fulton Financial Corporation reported net income available to common shareholders of $99.9 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2026. This represents an increase of $7.7 million compared to the first quarter of 2026. The company completed its acquisition of Blue Foundry Bancorp on 1 April 2026, acquiring total assets with preliminary fair values of approximately $2.1 billion. Blue Foundry Bank merged into Fulton Bank on 11 July 2026. Total net loans increased $1.7 billion to $25.9 billion, primarily due to the acquisition. Deposits totaled $28.3 billion, a $1.5 billion increase from the previous quarter. The company's common equity tier 1 capital ratio rose to approximately 12.1% from 11.9% in the prior quarter.

Fulton Financial appoints David Schulz to board of directors. July 21, 2026 David S. Schulz Fulton Financial Corp. has appointed David S. Schulz to its board of directors, effective Sept. 14. He will serve a term through the company's 2027 annual meeting of shareholders. Schulz will join the board's Audit and Risk committees and has also been appointed to the board of directors of Fulton Bank, N.A. With his appointment, Fulton Financial's board will expand to 11 members. "We're excited to welcome Dave to Fulton's board of directors," said Curt Myers, chairman, CEO and president of Fulton Financial. "Dave brings extensive financial leadership experience gained through more than a decade of service with publicly traded companies. His expertise in finance, strategic planning, risk and mergers and acquisitions will provide valuable perspective as we continue to execute our growth strategy." Schulz most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Wesco International before becoming executive vice president and special advisor to the CEO prior to his retirement in May 2026. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership positions at Armstrong Flooring, Armstrong World Industries, Procter & Gamble and The J.M. Smucker Company, and served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Since 2025, Schulz has served on the board of Sterling Infrastructure Inc., where he chairs the audit committee and serves on the compensation and talent development committee.
