Description Summary: The Business Systems Analyst II position is responsible for helping to lead the analysis and design of business processes, systems, and operations to drive organizational roles. This position is instrumental in helping to gather requirements, workflows, and business dependencies to translate them into technical requirements, ensuring that our systems support M3’s business goals effectively. You will be responsible for understanding and translating complex business needs into technical solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and support decision-making.

- Business Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- System Design and Development:
- Work with IT and development teams to design, implement, and test new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes and systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing workflows and increasing efficiency.
- Project Leadership:
- Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Documentation & Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, user stories, and system specifications.
- Help provide training and support to users for implemented systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support as needed.
- Risk and Issue Management
- Proactively identify project risks, propose mitigation strategies and address issues that arise during the implementation phases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Training/Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst position or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent related field or combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with business process modeling and improvement.
- Proven track record in leading complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Strong expertise in business process modeling, systems design, and project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detailed oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, diagraming, project management and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools. (CBAP, PMP, and/or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification desired)
- Must be able to build and maintain positive business relationships with co-workers and other business contacts.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced growth environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to work in the office regularly, or pivot to working at home should emergency situations arise.
- Ability to travel to represent the company’s interests required.
- Ability to attend work per assigned schedule and attend meetings with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
