  • Admission to practice law and good standing in Nevada is required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • The candidate must demonstrate eagerness to learn.
  • The candidate must be able to manage and prioritize a large caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties.
  • Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and related materials for active litigation files.
  • Review litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate action.
  • Advocate for clients' interests in various litigation settings.
  • Use internal proprietary software to update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory.
  • Analyze and process litigation inventory reports and litigation files as assigned by the Managing Attorney to ensure proper litigation workflow under firm and client expectations.
  • Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures.
  • Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of litigation or trial experience.
  • Working knowledge of civil procedure.
  • Debt collection experience.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume environment.
