Sources indicate as part of senior management Chief Executive Officer, Linxin Wen played a key role in securing the recent investment and it will aid in aggressively expanding the company, as well as broaden and accelerate product development. Chicago-based startup Chowbus, which primarily focuses on delivering authentic Asian cuisine, has just raised $4 million funding led by Greycroft Partners and FJ Labs in early 2019.
Meanwhile, San Francisco-headquartered Oh My Green, which is dedicated to bringing healthy snacks to offices, also raised $20 million seed funding in October 2018, led by investors including Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, PowerPlant Ventures, Backed VC, ZhenFund, Talis Capital and Standford-StartX Fund.
