Requirements
  • An associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a Healthcare-related field and one year of clinical research or financial analysis experience, preferably in research or sponsored programs, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Completion of Emory 2-Day Classroom Introduction to Clinical Research Course and Emory Research Management System training within 60 days of hire.
  • Completion of Fantastic Service Behaviors training at the next scheduled class but within 2 years of hire or promotion.
Responsibilities
  • Use professional concepts to quickly resolve problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Work on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making.
  • Ensure activities comply with Emory and Office for Clinical Research policies and procedures.
  • Review incoming correspondence from the Office for Clinical Research invoicing mailbox, identify items of special interest to management, handle routine correspondence and remittance advices, and triage items to appropriate analysts for response.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records and files, including initial study setup in the Emory Research Management System and invoicing of startup costs until first patient first visit.
  • Manage industry clinical trials with no enrollment.
  • Process final documents when industry clinical trials and their respective billing are completed.
  • Process RECIST payments and WIRB invoicing for industry clinical trials.
  • Utilize and integrate data from multiple financial and clinical database and software applications, including Compass, EPEX, Emory Express, Emory Research Management System, eIRB, OnBase, and OnCore.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as part of continuous learning.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required.
