  • Minimum Education / Experience for Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer: Nine (9) years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics (STEM); Seven (7) years with Masters; Four (4) years with PhD. NOTE: Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance prior to start date. TS/SCI eligibility must be in place by the start date.
  • Must possess DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date.
Responsibilities
  • collaborate on the design, deployment, and maintenance of distributed architecture systems.
  • assist in the development and implementation of enterprise solutions that align with best practices to support mission critical objectives.
  • maintaining awareness of market and technology trends to bring new and best of breed solutions to our customers.
  • During the first 30 days of employment onboarding activities to include Northrop Grumman training requirements, program overviews, system architecture familiarization, and department-specific training will establish a solid foundation for the new team member.
  • Day 30 through 90 will consist of further integrating the engineer into daily activities with a team lead to guide them. Tasks will be assigned in accordance with the appropriate pace needed to ensure process and system architecture assimilation.
  • Day 90 and onward will consist of mission-guided projects and opportunities for the engineer to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment. From leading day-to-day activities in the operations department, to testing cutting-edge feature enhancements to the enterprise architecture, the engineer will have the ability to invest in their future while delivering maximum value to our customer’s mission.
