Naval Acquisition and Contracts Specialist

As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process.
You’ll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with DoD acquisitions and contracts
- Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to independently draft all pre-award documentation for a Request for Proposal package
- Ability to independently manage all post-award documentation for executed contracts
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience as a FAR COR II, Contracting Officer, or Contract Specialist
- Experience with supporting the Navy or NAVSEA Program Office
- Experience in Agile contracting
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
