Requirements
  • A PhD in Psychology or a PsyD degree from an accredited university, with a clinical, counseling, or school psychology specialty area of training.
  • Full licensure in the state or states of practice as a Licensed Psychologist, or eligibility under provisions specified by the Board of Psychologist Examiners.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship.
  • Clinical training or background in early intervention programs.
  • Experience administering and scoring commonly used standardized assessment tools, including Vineland, WPPSI, WISC-V, EVT, PPVT, ADOS-2, ADI-R, PDDBI, PSI, SRS-2, and CBCL.
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of tablets or iPads.
  • Ability to use computers and computer software programs.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively.
  • Ability to interview, perform psychological evaluations, and provide treatment plans.
  • Expertise in tracking and ensuring clinical outcomes and progress while maintaining a high level of compliance.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports for parents, medical personnel, funding agencies, and medical records.
  • Ability to engage effectively in one-to-one communication with parents and clients.
  • Experience and understanding of customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build mutual trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated to achieve business goals.
  • Availability to provide special support and mentoring for consultations on emergency or urgent matters as needed.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds, and sitting, walking, and standing periodically.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having autism spectrum disorder.
  • Conduct, score, and interpret assessment measures and provide oral and written feedback on results.
  • Administer autism-specific assessments such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised.
  • Administer and interpret tools assessing developmental, intellectual, or cognitive functioning; adaptive functioning; social functioning; speech, language, and communicative functioning; and medical and neurological functioning.
  • Provide sensitive, thoughtful, and supportive feedback to parents.
  • Collaborate with team members, parents, young children, colleagues, community providers, schools, and interdisciplinary clinical and research teams.
  • Participate in consultation and program development with community providers, schools, and interdisciplinary clinical and research teams.
  • Assist in developing corporate structure and creating policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Help manage office staff for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with state-specific and payor-specific programs and certifications related to psychology and diagnostic practice.
  • Promote the growth of Centria Healthcare and assist in pursuing business opportunities.
  • Prepare reports for parents, medical personnel, funding agencies, and medical records.
  • Coordinate a schedule with 2–3 in-center days per week and the remaining time for remote report writing and clinical preparation.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of children and their families.
