Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university
  • Previous experience working for Certification Body
  • SA8000 Basic and Advanced Lead Auditor
  • CSCA Active Approval/Registration/Qualification
  • Language - Italian & English are mandatory
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include Familiarity with appropriate system standards; Excellent decision making and organization skills; Excellent oral and written communications skills; Ability to work with moderate supervision; Exhibit teamwork; Concerned for accuracy of work performed; Flexible in achieving duties; Knowledge of Italian Labor Legislation and EU general directives
Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits.
  • Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation.
  • Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification.
  • Lead introductory and closing meetings at clients’ facilities.
  • Set high standards to achieve results.
  • Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.
  • Additional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in ABS QE program procedure.
Desired Qualifications
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 lead auditor - Desirable.
  • Sedex SMETA Active Approval/Registration/Qualification - Desirable
  • Minimum five (5) years of industry experience preferred.
