Overview
DTEN is looking for an Accounting Leader to join our Finance team. This position reports directly to our CFO and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of DTEN’s accounting function. You will work closely with leaders globally within all corporate functions to design and ensure adherence to appropriate internal control procedures. You will also play a key role in providing mentorship and guidance to our finance team in an effort to support their continuous growth and development and improve the overall accounting function. This is a Hybrid role, with periodic visits to our San Jose, California headquarters required.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop associates involved in financial reporting, general accounting, accounts receivables, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, and payroll functions
- Oversee a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and prepare significant portions of internal and external reporting.
- Review account reconciliations as part of the overall financial control environment
- Support development of key accounting systems, processes and analyses
- Manage the financial statement audits, debt and banking administration
- Maintain and develop Inventory processes, procedures and workflow for effective execution and documentation of departmental functions related to financial reporting
- Document accounting policies and procedures, and conduct and document accounting research when needed, to ensure company financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP
- Implement and periodically validate appropriate internal controls throughout the company
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Plan and manage the efficient conduct of the annual financial audits, including partnering with external auditors
- Plan and manage regulatory reporting, including tax filings and compliance across various jurisdictions
- Create and drive a culture of engagement, collaboration, and respect, where teamwork and active problem-solving result in continuous improvement throughout the company
- Manage China finance team on financials and consolidations
- Manage and maintain the Corporate Travel Program, including vendors and expenses
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and B2B environments
- 5+ years of corporate accounting in a management role
- Active CPA designation a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, MBA a plus
- Experience in working in a Start-Up environment a plus
- Multi subsidiary experience and consolidation is a requirement
- Strong knowledge of global manufacturing, Inventory management, including cost analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements
- Proficient with NetSuite ERP and SFDC platforms
- Salesforce / NetSuite integration experience a plus
- Experience partnering with Chinese based accounting and finance teams a plus
- Bay Area located / Hybrid working role
- Bi-lingual Fluency in Mandarin is required
