Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years industrial or academic work experience with structural / durability / crash simulations
  • Strong technical and theoretical background in structure/material/fatigue/crash
  • Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or physics, preferred
  • Experience with 3D simulation software: Ansys suite (Mechanical, LS-dyna), Abaqus, Nastran, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Multi-body system modeling for modal, static, transient, fatigue, explicit, crash simulation
  • Topology optimization on mechanical structures
  • Sheet metal FEA modeling for explicit, crash and crush simulation
  • Provide static and transient structural safety assessment and design improvement direction
  • Conduct durability evaluations based on modal, vibration, impact & fatigue
  • Evaluate safety under crash & crush events (LS-Dyna, explicit simulation)
  • Help guide experimental validation and testing from simulation results
