Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant Finance, Analytics, and/or Business Intelligence experience.
  • Experience with SQL and other programming language.
  • Data presentation experience.
  • Customer-stakeholder personality.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, work independently, and apply thoughtful analysis to solve business challenges across a variety of functions such as Sales, IT and Finance.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance & Business Performance team, by collaborating to design a sustainable approach to how Higher Ed captures, manipulates, and aggregates our various data sources to enable clean and consistent analysis across the group.
  • Help promote a data-driven culture, provide accessibility to actionable and timely, performance metrics, and enable self-service capabilities for end-users across the business.
  • Support HE’s analytics tools and backend data systems, including Tableau and Alteryx, and collaborate closely with the Salesforce architecture team to drive alignment with HE’s data and CRM goals.
  • Engage with the HBP analytics community, to share experiences and incorporate new and better solutions in HE’s ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Enterprise IT, Sales, and Finance to effectively deliver on both on-going business and strategic initiatives as well as ad-hoc analysis requests.
  • Build and expand HE’s suite of dashboards (using Tableau or other tools) used to monitor business performance, including the top-level HE Management Dashboard, Sales dashboards, and dashboards to track HE’s strategic goal and initiatives.
  • Support insights efforts by employing our full ecosystem of data sources, including financial/transactional data, web analytics, offline data, customer records, industry research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Translate results into clear actions and insights for decision-makers, utilizing compelling and intuitive visuals, dashboards, and narratives.
  • Gain a deep understanding of modeling techniques to build solutions that track key revenue drivers and inform recurring forecasts.
