  • Ability to provide technically compliant alternate solutions for military, medical, aerospace, and industrial-grade components.
  • Ability to review connector requirements and recommend compatible accessories and associated components.
  • Ability to maintain updates to the component supplier management tool and workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Support Design Engineering in identifying and qualifying electronic, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Review, analyze, and optimize bills of materials down to the manufacturer part level.
  • Initiate and lead efforts to identify and qualify second sources for material availability, cost reduction, and reliability improvement.
  • Develop and execute component evaluation, acceptance, and qualification test plans.
  • Identify critical and high-risk components and proactively drive solutions to resolve end-of-life issues.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to counterfeit electronic components.
  • Work with approved suppliers and authorized distributors to ensure component authenticity.
  • Communicate with component manufacturers regarding component failures.
  • Review and address Product Change Notices from component manufacturers while tracking component lifecycles.
  • Provide input to new designs to improve product reliability.
  • Support root cause analysis activities for field and component failures in coordination with Quality and Design teams.
  • Review connector requirements and recommend compatible accessories and associated components.
  • Maintain updates to the component supplier management tool and workflows.
  • Promote coordination among team members toward recommended solutions and execution.

Arrow terminated one distribution agreement and is restructuring another. For the third quarter, the company expects revenue between $9.6 billion and $10.2 billion. Hedge fund holder count increased to 45 from 43.

By James Goulding on August 13, 2026 Arrow Electronics is hoping to accelerate partners' adoption and monetisation of AI and cloud through the establishment of networked experience centres in Georgia, USA and Stockholm, Sweden. Serving as strategic hubs for vendors, channel partners and end customers in Europe and North America, the centres give partners access to over 100 pre-built and tested solutions and the abilityto create custom solutions with support from Arrow engineers and technicians. Nick Bannister, President of Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions Business in Europe, said: "Our mission is to simplify technology, enabling our channel partners to use IT with confidence to solve real- world problems. Through global connectivity of our experience centres, we can test use cases, create demos and help channel partners understand how to run and secure workloads anywhere in the world, allowing them to create new business opportunities." Arrow's book-to-bill ratios remained above parity, with backlog extending into 2027. Growth was broad-based across aerospace, defence, industrial, and transportation sectors. The company improved its balance sheet, reducing gross debt by $300 million sequentially to $2.2 billion. Operating cash flow totalled $318 million for the quarter. For the third quarter of 2026, Arrow expects sales between $9.6 billion and $10.2 billion, with non-GAAP EPS ranging from $4.83 to $5.03.
