Requirements
  • BA degree in accounting
  • CPA required
  • 7-10 years of revenue and billing experience in the SaaS software industry
  • Mix of public accounting (Big 4 accounting firm) and industry experience
  • Prior experience with Netsuite and Salesforce preferred
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards, ASC 606
  • Good communication and customer support skills
  • Good understanding of financial statements disclosure requirements and strong account reconciliation skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead global revenue accounting, billing and collections functions
  • Serve as accounting subject matter expert for technical revenue recognition matters
  • Evaluate revenue contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and GAAP principles
  • Manage revenue and billing team with four total reports
  • Work cross functionally with other teams to develop efficient processes
  • Implement and document controls and processes around the entire quote to cash process
  • Collaborate with the go-to-market team throughout the contracting and collections process
  • Proactively identify ways to shorten financial close timelines
  • Lead the revenue accounting close process and presentation of financial close package
  • Serve as liaison with external auditors on accounting and reporting matters
