  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • The project manager shall have at least ten (10) years of experience in the field of construction management on projects with similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • This person shall have experience in the management of construction contracts, submittal reviews, schedule reviews, change management, and field inspection experience and have a complete understanding of all contract documents and in field problem solving skills and the interpretation of drawings and specifications.
  • Prefer a registered architect, engineer or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), with experience in the field of construction management on similar projects or have at least ten (10) years of experience in the fields of construction management and construction inspection.
  • As a minimum, this person shall have experience in the management of Government construction contracts, submittal and RFI reviews, schedule reviews, multi-story office building facility renovations, and MEP systems.
  • Shall also have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate professionally to sensitive tenants.
  • Approval by GSA required.
  • Have or able to obtain HSPD-12 Clearance.
Responsibilities
  • As required, provide on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy.
  • Provides support in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
  • Interfaces with clients to define project requirements.
  • Reviews schedule, and aligns project work plan and deadlines with requirements.
  • Monitors on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance.
  • Coordinates and monitors the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle.
  • Monitors and oversees the project design or construction effort, to include but not limited to risk management, security and safety compliance, etc.
