Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters desired in Organization Development, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field
  • Closer to 10 years or more in the learning and development field with the proven ability to engage, educate, influence, and inspire diverse individuals and groups of stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development and evaluation of key corporate-wide learning and development programs such as change management, culture, feedback, team health, team building, and high potential development initiatives.
  • Lead all non-sales Learning & Development skills development including annual needs assessment, identification of key gaps, design & development of learning curricula and assets, marketing and communications, program evaluation and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Drive and manage the Cytokinetics corporate-wide mentoring program and robust preparation of mentors and mentees to ensure program excellence.
  • Design and deliver targeted skills training, team development workshops, offsites, etc. that may include the delivery of constructive leadership and team assessment feedback and coaching.
  • Comfortable with facilitating both virtual and face-to-face delivery formats, and utilize proven facilitation techniques to manage complex group dynamics and handle conflict resolution scenarios.
  • Effectively express ideas and thoughts verbally and visually to match the needs of the audience, accommodate a variety of learning styles, and promote high participant engagement.
  • Structure and organize content in a way that is easy to process and engage the learner using diverse methodologies (e.g. feedback, self-discovery, storytelling, imagery, writing, and activities that are applicable to the learner’s real world).
  • Produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic, often times ambiguous, deadline-oriented business environment.
  • Identify ROI metrics and use evaluation data to measure impact, and assess content/delivery process improvement opportunities.
  • When applicable, utilize technology to create a high level of employee participation through various channels such as ILT learning, mobile learning, micro learning, social learning, blended learning, video-based learning, animation, infographics, etc.
