Givebutter is a fundraising platform that helps nonprofits, schools, and other groups raise money through multiple channels. It combines event management, ticketing, livestreaming, donation tracking, and recurring giving into one system, and supports both in-person and online campaigns. Organizations can start using the platform for free and only pay transaction fees or optional donor tips when funds are raised, with optional integrations to connect other tools. How it works: users create campaigns or events, sell tickets, run livestreams, and track donations all in one place; money flows through the platform with fees only on successful fundraising. Givebutter differentiates itself by offering an all-in-one solution that covers events, fundraising, and livestreams for both on-site and virtual campaigns, plus ready-made integrations to streamline workflows. The goal is to help organizations raise more money more easily by providing a flexible, multi-channel fundraising hub.

Givebutter launches Visa spend cards for nonprofits to use funds instantly without bank transfers

Givebutter has launched Spend Cards, becoming the first fundraising and CRM platform to offer built-in Visa cards. The cards let nonprofits spend directly from their Givebutter Wallet once funds settle, eliminating the need for bank transfers. The Austin-based company aims to close the gap between fundraising and spending. Until now, nonprofits often had to wait for funds to transfer to bank accounts before making purchases, forcing staff to front expenses or juggle multiple financial systems. Spend Cards work anywhere Visa is accepted, both online and in-store. Virtual cards can be created in minutes and added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, while physical cards arrive within 7–10 business days. The service is free, with no subscription costs or card fees. The cards are powered by Stripe's financial infrastructure and issued through Celtic Bank.
