  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, relationship development, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present at the senior-most level in the business.
  • Ability to work comfortably with people from diverse cultural backgrounds within a cross-border and virtual team environment.
  • Willingness to embrace change and keep an open mind.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, including standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in environments that may include moving mechanical parts and equipment, heights, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather, vibration, wet or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and occasional loud noise.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and target systems accounts through regular phone calls, virtual meetings, and site visits.
  • Understand customer needs, provide proactive solutions, address concerns, and recommend additional services.
  • Assess customers' specific needs and collect the data required to generate systems solutions.
  • Understand customers' current operations and identify pain points or inefficiencies.
  • Develop strategies to solve customer challenges and improve processes.
  • Work with an assigned solutions engineer and the engineering solutions team to develop customized solution proposals based on collected data and customer needs.
  • Determine system flow, product selection, cost savings, operational efficiency, and improved safety measures for proposed solutions.
  • Work with solutions engineering, engineering solutions, and implementation teams to provide accurate customer proposals.
  • Prepare process flows, pricing, implementation schedules, and return-on-investment calculations.
  • Manage the ordering process, including submitting orders to sales support, managing vendor quotes, coordinating internal teams and vendors for handoff to project management, and handling change orders.
  • Stay engaged through delivery of the material handling system and ensure installation and implementation meet customer expectations.
  • Participate in site acceptance testing with the project management team to certify that all criteria of the sold system are fulfilled.
  • Work with the local branch to provide an aftermarket strategy during the sales process.
  • Develop a customized site aftermarket plan covering parts and service support to be transitioned to the operations team at delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
