- Be enrolled in engineering studies at a university in Quebec.
- A background in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Physical Engineering is preferred.
- French proficiency at an advanced level and intermediate English proficiency, both oral and written, are required for occasional interaction with English-speaking partners.
- Basic knowledge of wireless systems, including technologies, frequencies, protocols, and propagation, is required.
- Basic knowledge of radio engineering equipment is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- A valid Quebec driver's license is required.
- The ability to work effectively in a team while demonstrating autonomy and rigor is required.
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills are required.
- Take Wi-Fi, 5G, and LTE signal measurements in the field using specialized equipment, mobile phones, and tablets.
- Support the engineering team in the design and deployment of Wi-Fi, 5G, and LTE services.
- Travel occasionally throughout the province using a provided corporate vehicle.
- Produce test reports using telecommunications software.
- Contribute to optimizing network coverage for internal and external clients.
- Participate in studies of new Wi-Fi, Internet of Things, and 5G products, including device testing, measurements, and report writing.
- Improve the efficiency of the WFSA group by developing work tools.
- Keep various databases up to date.
- Install small cellular repeaters for business clients.
- Knowledge of Ekahau and TEMS Discovery software.
