Analog Devices’ MEMS & Specialty Products Group is looking for an Equipment Engineering Technician to support first shift operations by maintaining equipment and equipment processes in the manufacturing of fabrication processing equipment
The equipment engineering technician is required to perform routine maintenance on wafer fabrication processing equipment. The candidate needs experience in the maintenance of wafer fabrication processing equipment to support Photo, Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Implant and Thin Film. Basic troubleshooting skills and a basic understanding of equipment/process interaction to determine the root cause of the failure and resolve issues in a timely manner.
This is a hands-on position that requires broad understanding of the equipment and equipment processes. Manufacturing equipment support responsibilities will include Installation, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of tools. Process support includes assisting production by identifying, responding to, and disposition of non-conforming equipment and/or materials. The equipment technician will work with manufacturing personnel, other technicians, and process engineers to follow project plans, execute material testing, equipment performance, equipment maintenance, and data collection.

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of electronics construction, equipment knowledge and troubleshooting, and a strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual assembly equipment as well as the communication skills required to work with engineering.
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent, Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing process support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions, interpret equipment manuals and process documentation.
- General working knowledge of automated processing equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope is necessary.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Minitab statistical software, and AutoCAD are a plus.
