Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a similar field is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Credit background checks are required biennially as a condition of continued employment.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the Atlanta office.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor cash balances throughout the day and maintain accurate cash flow projections and estimates of available funds.
  • Regulate the timing of cash flows to ensure funds are available for the Office of Finance main settlement wire at established cutoff times.
  • Communicate with the Capital Markets and Funding team to identify intraday funding needs and reconcile activity to the Liquidity Cash Management Report.
  • Coordinate with Sales, E-Payments, and Safekeeping to incorporate relevant information into cash flow projections.
  • Execute Fed funds trades with counterparties or through brokers, enter trades into the UCR system, and ensure compliance with exposure limits, department procedures, and the Risk Management Policy.
  • Manage relationships with direct counterparties and Fed funds brokers while balancing direct and broker trades and limiting brokerage fees.
  • Enter wire transfers for settlement of Fed funds trades into the ACI Money Transfer System.
  • Trade reverse repurchases during early morning trading on a rotating basis with Treasury staff.
  • Monitor Insured Bank Deposit Accounts and move money as needed for the Bank's investment strategy or to reduce counterparty exposure.
  • Monitor cash balances in the JPMorgan Chase safekeeping account and direct money movements to minimize credit exposure.
  • Set the Daily Investment Account/Daily Rate Credit rate based on trading activity and share it with multiple departments.
  • Plan, negotiate, and execute funding and hedging transactions with the Office of Finance, debt underwriters, and derivative counterparties.
