Your Impact: 

Joining our embedded engineering team, you will be working on building the fabric that makes edge programmability possible. You will be responsible for building and implementing our operating system in baseband. This includes building the cellular and RF modems, drivers, and controllers for our next generation distributed OS. Your work will create a fundamentally new architecture, bringing together and orchestrating change across secure communication networks, future supply chain management, alternative energy, manufacturing, smart warehouses, and grids.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and build SDR technologies to apply complex communication and networking to emerging systems

• Lead the design and development of all SDR software and hardware including its FPGA and host interface

• Collaborate closely across engineering teams, solving technical challenges for various customer requirements

• Integrate/implement proprietary waveforms onto an SDR to extend communications to denied/contested environments

• Build out full support for cellular communications from baremetal 

• Build out full support for sat/geo communication communication medians from baremetal

You Should Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience 

• Experience  with baseband processors

• Hands on experience with modem design and firmware

• Experience with C and/or Rust programming
  

Bonus if you have:

• Hardware engineering experience

• Understanding of hardware interfacing with GPUs or FPGAs. Experience with hardware acceleration

• Understanding of commercial wireless communication standards

• Experience with Zigbee and Modbus protocols
