About:

Our client, Powered by the People, is a rapidly growing B2B wholesale marketplace that helps connect independent global brands from over 50 countries to North American retailers. They are looking for a VP of Product to join their team.

Position:

Working alongside the CEO, the VP of Product will be developing new business strategies to drive a whole new sector of digital retail business. You will play a critical role in the leadership team, responsible for user adoption, product design and development.

This role is fully remote, with an office located in Toronto and Nairobi, but is only open to *Eastern Timezone Candidates*

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of product managers

- Manage the product life cycle - from concept to launch

- Communicate product strategies to all internal and external stakeholders

- Work closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to develop strategic marketing plans for each product

Requirements:

- B.S. and an advanced degree in a technical, design or business field

- 7+ years of product leader experience- Experience in building consumer products with B2B enterprise technology

- Industry experience in global retail and finance

- Successfully implemented data-driven processes

- Ability to collaborate with various department leaders (Engineering, Marketing, and Design) to implement user-friendly product roadmaps

- Fluent in eCommerce and FinTech
