Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • An Insurance Adjuster License is required, including successful completion of the required licensing examination and licensing in all applicable states.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service, customer contact, or related experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing processes, systems, and business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to handle routine responsibilities while remaining flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate, evaluate, and process low to moderately complex insurance claims.
  • Review claim information for accuracy, completeness, and coverage applicability.
  • Process claim payments and communicate claim decisions and settlements to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to facilitate timely claim resolution.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and records throughout the claims lifecycle.
  • Contribute to departmental goals, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Use technology, systems, and claim management tools to support workflow efficiency.
  • Support workload surges, special projects, and catastrophe operations as needed, including working overtime during designated catastrophe events.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of insurance products, policy contracts, coverages, claim handling procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Provide professional and empathetic customer service during potentially stressful claim situations.
  • Adhere to company standards for quality, compliance, attendance, and conduct.
  • Meet established training standards for performance, attendance, and conduct, and successfully complete all required training programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree.
  • Active Adjuster License.
  • Prior claims adjusting, investigation, or claims resolution experience.
  • Experience handling Property and Casualty insurance claims.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy interpretation, claims handling practices, and applicable state regulations.
  • Experience using claims management systems and industry-related software.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience.
  • Prior military experience.

National insurance claim support firm opening 1st Arizona office in Chandler. PHOENIX - A nationwide provider of insurance claim support services announced this week it will open its first Arizona office in Chandler. Claim Assist Solutions, a San Antonio-based company, will open a new 58,000-square-foot office at One Chandler Corporate Center, located near Chandler Boulevard and McClintock Road. The new office will open this month, according to a press release. "Our decision to expand into Chandler is driven by both client demand and the area's strong talent pool," Claim Assist Solutions President Ramon Lopez said in the release. "This is a significant investment for us and we see great long-term growth opportunities in Chandler." Claim Assist Solutions provides support using tech-enabled insurance services that streamlines claims process for carriers, adjusters and policyholders. In addition to the new office, Claim Assist Solutions will hire about 40 employees for the office's launch and will plan to hire up to 400 positions over the next 2 to 3 years.
