Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, attention-to-detail, time-management, deadline-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.
  • The ability to learn new processes quickly, prioritize, and multitask is required.
  • The ability to meet critical deadlines that may adjust due to business needs is required.
  • A service-oriented, positive attitude toward vendors and colleagues is required.
Responsibilities
  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices in multiple currencies efficiently.
  • Process vendor credits in multiple currencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Manage the workflow queue in a timely manner.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Communicate with vendors and worldwide EBSCO offices by phone or email, and document communications in the custom workflow software.
  • Perform detailed research for problem solving and maintain system documentation and effective records and files.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
