Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Medicaid consulting projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Assist states to work across systems to integrate funding streams and programs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients with a particular focus on state Medicaid agencies, children’s behavioral health, child welfare and juvenile justice Agencies, HHS agencies, and large employer organizations.
  • Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, proposal development, and presentations to secure new consulting engagements.
  • Identify new and emerging opportunities in growth industries related to Medicaid.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants and project teams to foster professional growth and development.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services that meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives and best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
