About the role:
The Head of Digital Strategy will oversee the success of Samsara’s 1st party digital experiences end-to-end globally. This highly cross-functional role will collaborate with the Brand, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Growth, and Engineering teams to deliver comprehensive and integrated website (desktop and mobile) strategies that increase awareness, drive customer acquisition, and improve product adoption. This role will function as both a Product Manager of Samsara.com and driver of thoughtful CX journeys for discovery of Samsara’s solutions and customer advocacy.

In this role, you will:
- Drive a global web strategy and craft the website experiences that guide users throughout a discovery and buyer journey
- Full accountability of Samsara’s comprehensive web and strategy that ties our various digital web properties together. Oversee roadmap of releases, testing, personalization, and other tactics to create an immersive experience for our users
- Mentor, develop and guide a team of Web Growth Marketers, Web Analyst, Web Developers and Visual Designers who, are currently building the future of this web experience
- Develop and refine CRO, A/B Tests, and optimize user flow experiences to drive growth using data, research, competitive insights
- Build best practices for seamless content publishing, integrated campaigns and product promotion equitably across all customer segments and regions.
- Implement foundational workflows and processes to create visibility for the team and leadership to ensure executional excellence
- Evaluate new web technologies that could help improve operations within the organization
- Drive a variety of high-impact web projects and campaigns leveraging cross-vertical teams of dedicated internal resources: designers, developers, engineers, content writers, marketers
- Establish a weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to communicate website project progress, web and organic performance
- Manage content translation service to enable efficient localization globally
- Support our EMEA and MX/CA teams in expanding our web footprint
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 8+ years of digital experience creation or digital marketing / marketing automation experience
- Web product go-to-market and launch experience, ideally in the high-growth industry
- Ability to analyze data and translate web findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong working knowledge of analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Mixpanel, Tableau)
- Experience implementing and managing web translation & localization programs
- Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong web delivery project management skills
- Data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving with a track record of a test & learn mindset
- Excellent team player who values other views and can earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert influence
- Strong executive communication and ability to effectively share program strategies, results, and insights with a large audience

At Samsara, we have adopted a flexible way of working, enabling teams and individuals to do their best work, regardless of where they’re based. We value in-person collaboration and know a change of scenery and quiet space to work is welcomed from time to time, but also appreciate that the world of work has changed. Our offices remain open for those who prefer to collaborate or work in-office, but we also encourage fully remote applicants.
