Responsibilities
  • Designing cyber resilience solutions: You will design and architect resilience solutions that incorporate best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This includes designing robust systems, networks, and applications that can withstand cyber threats and ensure business continuity.
  • Developing application design guidelines: You will establish application design guidelines that promote high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This may involve implementing redundant systems, load balancing, fault tolerance, and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Implementing disaster recovery strategies: You will partner with service and solution teams to help design recovery strategies to ensure that critical systems and data can be quickly and effectively restored in the event of a major incident or disaster. This may involve designing recovery processes, establishing recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs), and advising the service and solution teams on how best to test the effectiveness of the recovery plans.
  • Enhancing technology resiliency: You will identify and partner with technology teams to implement technologies and solutions that enhance the organization's technology resiliency. This may include implementing redundant network connections, leveraging cloud services for data backup and recovery, and implementing failover mechanisms for critical infrastructure components.
  • Collaborating with solution and service teams: You will work closely with solution and service teams to ensure that resiliency principles and best practices are integrated into the design and development of applications. This includes reviewing application architectures, conducting security reviews, and providing guidance on secure coding practices.
  • Conducting architecture assessments: You will partner with our technology teams to assess the organization's existing architecture and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Based on these assessments, you will develop architectural recommendations to enhance cyber resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance: You will serve as a technical leader and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on cyber resilience best practices, high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This includes mentoring team members, conducting training sessions, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends: You will stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to cyber resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This will enable you to recommend and implement innovative solutions to mitigate evolving cyber threats.
  • Participating in architectural reviews and governance processes: You will actively participate in architectural reviews and governance processes to ensure that cyber resilience principles and best practices are incorporated into the organization's technology roadmap. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that cyber resilience requirements are met during project planning and execution.
