Duties:
- Develop device firmware, including security protocols and countermeasures.
- Assist the design team in developing and qualifying hardware security Intellectual Property (IP) Blocks.
- Develop and run pre-silicon functional verification tests.
- Develop and execute Silicon and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Road Tests.
- Work on new product definitions and evaluate products and IP blocks for security vulnerabilities.
- Lead product and IP Block certification efforts.
- Develop various software, including mobile and cloud apps and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI).
- Generate mechanical drawings for various proof-of-concept products.

Requirements:
Must have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or foreign education equivalent) and 36 months of experience as a Product Engineer or related role supporting electronic device firmware development and product innovation.
Must also possess the following:
- Demonstrated Experience (“DE”) evaluating simulation, FPGA, and Silicon Road-Testing using tools such as Perl, SystemVerilog, Python, SimVision, and XCelium;
- DE performing Side-Channel Attack (“SCA”) analysis and vulnerability mitigation using Cadence simulation tools and target detection with high-bandwidth oscilloscopes;
- DE developing Read-Only Memory (“ROM”) Firmware (“FW”) for modern cryptography products, secure authenticators, microcontrollers, and data loggers in compliance with NIST guidelines, by utilizing tools such as Assembly, C programming and FreeRTOS on Arm and RISC-V platforms;
- DE performing cross-platform app development and maintenance using applications such as Flutter, Dart, Swift, Kotlin, and C for iOS, Android, and Windows; and
- DE conducting engineering simulation and design analysis using MATLAB, COMSOL, Ansys, and Autodesk.
