How You’ll Make An Impact

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join the Product Content team in the Product org. This team comprises Technical & UX Writers who strive to deliver accurate, concise, and well-written technical documentation, online help, and in-app text that helps users perform their tasks. 

Our ideal candidate enjoys working in technical enterprise software (cloud) and thrives on collaborating cross-functionally to help create new and better experiences using words. We want someone who shares a knack for simplifying complexity so that information is presented to users in clear, consumable, and actionable ways.

You’ll work with agile engineering teams, product managers, designers, and tech writing leads to write and maintain documentation for cloud apps, AI-enabled services, iPaas, automation, and more. You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, open-minded, flexible, passionate about user experience, love to take ownership, and deeply value collaboration. 

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with fast-paced agile software engineering teams, data scientists, technical writers, designers, and product managers to plan, write, and maintain content for a highly technical software product.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer feedback, maintain internal process documentation, close documentation tickets, and work on strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with engineers to understand requirements, gather information, and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
• Use software and issue-tracking tools to track your work, technical accuracy, and status.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, multi-team agile environment with a willingness to learn and grow.

The Experience You Bring

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Writer in an agile product-focused enterprise software environment.
• Passionate about AI and eager to help drive a new generation of data and machine learning-enabled products to innovate and solve challenging problems.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts, research, analyze specifications, and communicate them clearly and precisely in plain language.
• Collaborate effectively with agile engineering teams to write documentation that is easy to read, understand, and navigate.
• Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
• You are excited to learn new tools and technologies. Bonus points if you are comfortable writing in Markdown and working in git.

Compensation and Benefits

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA ranges from $84,664 - $105,830. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
