  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 years HR experience, including 2 years of full cycle Compensation experience including benchmarking, salary analysis and salary planning (i.e, merit, promotions, equity, salary adjustments, incentive planning, ESOPs) and program administration
  • Experience in Global (i.e., North Am, UK) compensation and benefits administration. Solutioned global benefits packages aligned to corporate strategies
  • Experience handling detailed compensation analysis of data, development of programs and incentive design (this is a hands-on type of role where you use all of your knowledge and innovation)
  • Experience conducting market and trend analysis compensation programs (including base, incentive, variable and equity) through market research and salary survey input while ensuring internal equity and consistency in the compensation program
  • Experience performing, forecasting and modeling for Total Rewards as needed
  • Strong sense of urgency with an ability to execute efficiently, accurately and effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer facing skills at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize with good time management skills in a fast paced environment
  • Results focused with excellent project and time management skills, willing and able to work to meet given deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Director of Human Resources and RII HR Team, to develop, implement, and administer global Total Rewards policies and programs
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Generalists, People Org Team members, RII Management and Senior Leadership providing market total rewards compensation and benefits analysis and recommendations. Lead and provide excellence in the administration of global benefits and compensation programs that support business objectives, through analytical and professional support of key processes
  • Lead and support global compensation and benefits programs with solid knowledge in your discipline to analyze, interpret, model, develop, design, communicate and implement RII Total Rewards Programs to ensure effectiveness and competitiveness
  • Consult and lead on direct compensation administration and programs (i.e., base, incentive, commissions, equity. Work on projects including merit and bonus processes, global pay range, pay analysis and geographical differential pay review, benefit harmonization initiatives, compensation and benefit tool selection
  • Develop creative compensation solutions that are designed around RII objectives and informed by market trends
  • Serve as a SME, trusted partner, and advisor on all compensation related matters
  • Participate in compensation surveys, monitor survey data and create benchmarking models to illustrate trends and ensure RII compensation objectives are achieved
  • Conduct job evaluations using market data as well as create and support the development and maintenance on RII job descriptions as needed throughout the organization
  • Network with industry colleagues, expert consultants and vendors to ensure continuous improvement, competitiveness and consistency in delivery of Total Rewards at RII
  • Identify, recommend, plan and implement new or modified global benefits programs and employee rewards that are aligned with RII Strategy and Culture
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers as appropriate to research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value
  • Oversee ongoing benefits communication and drives benefit related events (i.e., open enrollment, wellness programs, and health fairs)
  • Provide support that quantifies and analyzes financial trends for the projection and explanation of future compensation, health and welfare, and retirement costs
  • Maintain metrics on benefits, costs and trends and provide recommendations for improvements, enhancements, and cost savings
  • Leads transformational change, managing stakeholders, achieving buy-in amongst disparate audiences, and delivering results
  • Lead and assist with design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefit programs and policies that ensure RII is able to attract and retain the best talent while also being compliant with all Federal and state laws
  • Ability to stay abreast of legal and compliance requirements, assist with formulation of recommendations to administer policies and programs in a compliant manner
  • Provide input on HRIS tools and systems
  • Ensure HR data has integrity, is accurate and kept up to date so HR report generation is clean
  • Prepare employee compensation and benefit total rewards statements, communications, presentations, and managerial guides for the importance of the global rewards programs
  • Proactively research, propose and implement global recognition programs that are aligned with RII strategy and vision
  • Ensure RII is compliant through audits, reports and personal contact that compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies, reports, and government regulations (i.e., FLSA)
  • Participated in benefits surveys and benchmarking
  • Proactively engage in researching competitive benefit solutions to ensure we continue to be part of the “Great Place to Work” employer award
  • Help keep HR Benefits Administration focused on being technology driven with simplification efforts to ensure ease of use for customers
  • Be accountable for administration on monthly benefits invoices, retirement programs (i.e.401k), flexible spending accounts and other benefits offered
  • RII's primary tool being used is Google Suites, some Microsoft Suites, with proficiency on HRIS tools
  • Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions to address issues in an efficient and effective way while demonstrating proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with sensitive matters, act with discretion and respect
  • Solid ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee and RII information
  • Take personal initiatives to plan, create and deliver on outrageously cool Total Rewards for RII employees
