Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the battery manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing supplier contracts, achieving cost savings, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • In-depth understanding of battery manufacturing processes and the specific raw materials, components, and supplies required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing strategy to optimize procurement costs, enhance supply chain efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Identify and qualify potential suppliers of raw materials, components, and supplies, ensuring they meet Gotion Inc.'s stringent quality and sustainability standards.
  • Conduct thorough supplier evaluations, assessing factors such as quality, cost, reliability, and capacity to meet production requirements.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with Gotion Inc.'s business objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively, balancing the need to maintain adequate stock for production with the objective of minimizing carrying costs.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identifying potential disruptions, shortages, or price fluctuations and proactively implementing contingency plans to minimize impact on production.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure that purchased materials and components meet technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to identify opportunities for cost savings, supply chain optimization, and innovation in procurement strategies.
