Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years general ledger experience (Required)
  • Basic understanding of US GAAP required
  • Experience working with multiple foreign currencies preferred
  • Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience (Required)
Responsibilities
  • Verify fixed asset additions are correctly accounted for and set up in fixed asset module
  • Process monthly depreciation entries
  • Maintain fixed asset registers, working with business to identify disposals
  • Prepare monthly fixed asset reporting
  • Complete assigned balance sheet account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis
  • Prepare US GAAP adjustment entries
  • Analyze lease contracts to determine proper accounting treatment
  • Prepare lease accounting journal entries according to ASC 842
  • Review purchase requests for proper general ledger coding
  • Book weekly cash payments not run through Accounts Payable
  • Assist with annual audit requirements
  • Assist Accounting Manager with special projects and other duties as assigned
