Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Advice, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Five to seven or more years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management, including managing high-net-worth portfolios, is required.
  • Deep technical knowledge of investment products, financial markets, tax laws, and retirement planning is required.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts clearly through strong interpersonal and communication skills is required.
  • Proficiency with Xplan financial planning software and customer relationship management systems is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances.
  • Advise high-net-worth clients on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance, and other financial products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication.
  • Analyse client financial data and collaborate with accountants, lawyers, and tax specialists to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Stay current with market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes while meeting business development and compliance targets.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst, or equivalent credential is highly preferred.
  • Prior success in achieving business development targets and growing client portfolios.
  • Experience working in an advisory team that delivers integrated advice with external specialists.
  • Advanced or specialist credentials beyond core qualifications, such as Self-Managed Super Fund accreditation or advanced tax and estate planning credentials.
  • A demonstrated track record advising high-net-worth individuals and delivering bespoke wealth strategies.
  • Prior leadership skills and contribution to business growth.
