- Experience with traditional, iterative, or Agile development practices.
- Experience as a senior test engineer across all areas of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong testing experience across system testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with modern application deployment methodologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to review requirements for testability.
- Ability to identify test conditions and objectives and derive test cases using advanced test techniques.
- Ability to identify and apply tools that accelerate quality.
- Ability to use appropriate tools to execute test cases and report results.
- Ability to raise, track, and close defects.
- Ability to set up a defect lifecycle process when required.
- Ability to work with Agile methodologies and collaborate across teams.
- Ideally, current residence in Australia, full working rights in Australia, local experience, and availability to start on short notice.
- Perform test analysis and improvement, test design and review, test execution, defect management, reporting, and contributions to planning and estimation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, users, clients, and other project members to understand testing and systems requirements and identify automation opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test quality through reviews and recommendations.
- Contribute to test plans and other high-level documentation as required.
- Create comprehensive test assets in appropriate tools relevant to test conditions.
- Report test results to managers across the business.
- Lead small teams and guide people on testing-related topics.
