Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 10 Years of applicable Manufacturing Experience. Will also consider Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of Manufacturing Experience. Or MS degree and 4 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience working in a DoD Contract environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and teams
  • Ability to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goals
  • Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Ability to spend at least 75% of time on the Manufacturing Floor
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
  • Program Manager responsibilities include: cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package on a large system development-type contract or broad responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract.
  • Guidance Given, Assignments Received.
  • Assignments are received in task oriented terms. Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one functional area in the Manufacturing and Production job family.
