Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of current Level III neonatal intensive care unit experience is required.
  • A current California registered nurse license is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator training, is required.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide and manage competent nursing care to neonatal patients requiring moderate to complex assessments, interventions, and nursing vigilance.
  • Work in a team environment using a multidisciplinary approach to provide nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Deliver individualized patient care in a safe, supportive, caring, and family-centered environment.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and delegate personnel participating in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met.
Desired Qualifications
  • RNC-NIC certification is preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
