Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with metrology tools such as, but not limited to, AFM, MFM, Interferometer, SEM, and high magnification optical microscopy
  • Experience with semiconductor/IC manufacturing or magnetic read/write head slider fabrication is a significant plus
Responsibilities
  • Support process development and wafer integration engineering team in executing experiments, logging data and troubleshooting processes
  • Adapt to changes on the fly and pursue alternate paths, when necessary, to achieve objectives
  • Operate metrology and inspection tools
  • Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality
  • Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations
  • Willingness to learn, be flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Work in Cleanroom and semi-cleanroom environments
