- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with metrology tools such as, but not limited to, AFM, MFM, Interferometer, SEM, and high magnification optical microscopy
- Experience with semiconductor/IC manufacturing or magnetic read/write head slider fabrication is a significant plus
- Support process development and wafer integration engineering team in executing experiments, logging data and troubleshooting processes
- Adapt to changes on the fly and pursue alternate paths, when necessary, to achieve objectives
- Operate metrology and inspection tools
- Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality
- Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations
- Willingness to learn, be flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Work in Cleanroom and semi-cleanroom environments
