Requirements
  • We're looking for a seasoned Finance professional with broad experience across Finance operations and accounting, change management and transformation
  • A big problem solver that is happy to take on any challenge, get their hands dirty and figure out a solution. Their communication is exceptional, able to distill complex problems and recommendations with ease to senior business leaders
  • Experience in leading and growing large teams, and are keen for a fresh challenge in taking Canva's global Finance Operations through transformation and to the next level of scale
Responsibilities
  • Overall owner of our Finance Operations including Revenue to Cash, Treasury, Contributor Payments and Payroll cycles. Responsible for driving the vision of how we scale, automate and transform globally to supporting business growth and the accounting and compliance requirements that are ever becoming more complex
  • Evolution of controls and review processes, metrics and reporting, instilling best practice and ensuring an amazing customer experience
  • The role will also work closely with the Procure to Pay team on the Finance operating requirements of their processes, as well as support Finance's involvement in Canva's Real Estate strategy
  • Supporting the operationalisation of US GAAP reporting requirements into our operating cycles (working with our core and technical accounting and reporting teams)
  • Coach and leader of a number of growing teams
  • Working with wider Finance leadership on projects and transactions that arise
