Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources or another relevant field (desired)
  • Workday Certification (desired)
  • Proven experience working with Workday
  • Generalist HR background with a solid understanding of HR systems and operations
  • Experience within construction materials industry
  • Workday key modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruiting
  • Familiar with Workday reporting, report writing and dashboards
  • Problem Solving & troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing complexity in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Intermediate + skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in training and building knowledge within teams
  • Analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously and in teams
  • Experience in process mapping and analysis
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR teams and other departments to improve system processes and resolve issues
  • Administer Workday business processes
  • Assist with testing and implementing new system features and upgrades
  • Provide support for Workday reporting and analytics
  • Take ownership of key Workday streams, understanding the end-to-end of business process (e.g. Job Changes, Remuneration, Leave Management, Contract Management etc)
  • Pivotal role in Workdays biannual product releases, ensuring minimal impact to the system’s user experience and business compliance
  • Support with future deployments of additional Workday modules
  • Supporting the new hire and onboarding process and relevant HR workflows in SAP Payroll
