Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task each day to meet strict deadlines and schedule demands to complete tasks in timely manner
  • Must have 2-3 years of customer service or operations experience
  • Compliance experience preferred
  • Consumer Dispute experience desired
  • Experience in background screening industry and court terminology desired
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Associate degree or relevant work experience expected
  • Effective communication and presentation, including conflict resolution
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines
  • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce) and good data entry skills
Responsibilities
  • Prioritize, balance dispute workload, and ensure compliance w/ FCRA and all applicable requirements
  • Effectively troubleshoot and problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Conduct research to complete the reinvestigation, including reviewing court records, reading dockets, calling courts, verifying public records, and education and employment verifications
  • Handle and successfully resolve client and consumer escalations
  • Monitor and track dispute activity and prepare report(s)
  • Evaluate and implement solutions based on observation and feedback
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendation
  • Additional projects provided by management as needed
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of FCRA and apply in the various Dispute functions
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of products and services
  • Understand and accurately apply company policies
  • Create and maintain work instructions
  • Learn and develop system know-how
