The Systems Autonomy, Analysis, and Modeling (SAAM) Group at STR is seeking a Graduate Intern to develop sensing, technology, and system modeling environments for high-impact defense applications. This position will focus on ground, air, and space sensing and the resource management of these assets in the service of the survivability and capability of US air and space assets (e.g., the F-35 Joint Simulation Environment) using the methods of operational and systems analysis. Intern will work with leading researchers to define the modeling requirements, design, and implement the environment, and validate the predictive or explanatory capabilities. This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government.
