- Completion of a full residency program is not required.

- Manage patient outcomes based on clinical expertise and direction.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in nursing facilities.
- Perform wound debridement.
- Use advanced wound dressings.
- Apply amniotic tissue and other biological therapies.
- Build a work schedule with the team.
- Complete patient documentation using the company's custom software system.
- Experience in wound care is welcomed but not required.
- Surgical, family medicine, or internal medicine physician backgrounds are welcomed.
- Participation in physician wound care training, including continuing medical education, conferences, workshops, and online courses, is provided.
Skilled Wound Care is a physician-led provider of wound-care services for skilled nursing and long-term-care facilities. Clinicians deliver bedside assessment and treatment while collaborating with facility teams on documentation, prevention, and follow-up. The organization also trains and supports physicians building specialized wound-care practices.
