Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required by September 1, 2026.
  • Must be an alumnus of Princeton University or an alumni participant in one of the listed EBCAO programs: PUPP, PSJP, TSI, or ASAP.
  • At least one year of work experience is required.
  • Some experience with website development and/or coding.
  • Ability to engage effectively with and codeswitch between undergraduates, graduates, administrative staff, and faculty.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a wide range of organizational needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with varied areas of expertise.
  • Clear enthusiasm for and experience with student mentorship.
  • Demonstrated commitment to initiatives that promote access to higher education.
  • Understanding of basic program evaluation principles, including the ability to engage in quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
Responsibilities
  • Transition multiple external partnerships from the Office of the Provost to EBCAO with the Deputy Director.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partner organizations' staff.
  • Develop calendars for programming needs and other partnership obligations.
  • Coordinate with campus partners to facilitate housing, food, room reservations, and appropriate hosting for external organizations.
  • Help coordinate college access and success programming and workshops for external pre-college access programs.
  • Provide programming and mentorship, facilitate partner organizations' campus work, and assess program impact.
  • Develop relationships with school districts, college access organizations, and other relevant partners.
  • Develop scalable, web-based resources on college access and success with Princeton staff and faculty.
  • Create opportunities to distribute web-based resources and evaluate their efficacy.
  • Help coordinate educator convenings, including content development and logistical organization.
  • Support recruitment, application management and review, enrollment, and summer and academic-year programming for Transfer Scholars Initiative participants.
  • Support transfer application boot camps, provide one-on-one student mentorship, and create group structures for ongoing application advising.
  • Provide program support to the Lydia's Scholars Program, Aspiring Scholars and Professionals, and other initiatives as needed.
  • Highlight outreach work and increase program visibility with program and communications staff.
  • Support the development and delivery of other EBCAO programs, including virtual events and events hosted at participants' home campuses.
  • Support recruitment and applicant selection, create a programmatic calendar, and engage campus partners for ASAP.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Deputy Director.
  • Occasionally supervise student workers.
  • Work occasional nights and weekends, particularly during busy summer months.
Desired Qualifications
  • Past participation in EBCAO programs as a student, if a Princeton alumnus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of Slate.
  • Ability to communicate in a language other than English, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
