- Own the review process for a driverless system including discovering issues, reporting to the appropriate owners and coordinating resolutions through excellent root cause analysis.
- Act as a liaison between the Systems Engineering team and the autonomy software development teams to drive progress towards Waabi’s product and safety goals.
- Help drive Waabi’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across all supporting teams at Waabi including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software.
- Define the structure and manner to document and report on specific system and subsystem performance metrics.
- Support the documentation and tracing of all product and system requirements to tests and their executions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance Waabi’s behavioral evaluation capabilities, look for novel approaches, identify and apply lessons learned and ensure a detailed and comprehensive documentation that is easily accessible.
- Influence tool designs and methodologies to streamline and automate the triage processes where applicable.
- Work with external partners on gathering data and information related to driving behaviors of trucks as well as on supporting a strong safety case for the complete self-driving system.
