Beam is seeking a highly motivated co-op, who has a passion for science, learning, and drug development, to join Beam from July through December 2024. The candidate should be keen in learning new skills and applying those skills for solving drug development problems.  During this co-op, the co-op can expect to take part in activities such as literature research, data analysis, and preparing reports and presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
• Build and maintain datasets for future retrieval and analysis.
• Conduct data analysis and generate plot and figures using R and other appropriate software packages.
• Undertake scientific & regulatory literature research for relevant references.
• Generate reports and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues in cross function expertise areas.
• Integrate AI tool for data analysis and reporting.      

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a graduate degree or enrolled in undergraduate degree program in computer science, engineering, pharmacology, or other related fields.
• Basic data analysis skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with coding or programming using R or other software packages.
