Responsibilities
  • Cataloging and maintaining data inventories to support projects being worked by the Petrophysics and Geoscience Teams
  • Loading and transferring data between Landmark OpenWorks/DSG, Petrel/Studio, ArcGIS and other applications
  • Understanding, manipulating, and QC’ing well and production data, log data and core data
  • Generating multi-dimensional maps from raw data to finished product often requiring complex geoprocessing functions and incorporating multiple data sources in a variety of software
  • Strong knowledge of coordinate reference systems, transformations, and spatial positioning
  • Creation and maintenance of enterprise tools including SharePoint and dashboards
  • Identifying, documenting, and communicating standards and best practices to the Geoscience Technical Support team and participating in knowledge capture and sharing
